If you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World, meeting your favorite Disney characters is likely at the top of your to-do list.

From classic characters like Mickey Mouse and Cinderella to newer favorites like Elsa and Buzz Lightyear, there are plenty of opportunities to snap a photo and get an autograph with your favorite Disney characters at all the Disney parks.

But with so many parks and attractions, it can be overwhelming to figure out where to find all the characters.

That’s why we’ve put together this ultimate list of all the places at Walt Disney World where you can meet characters!

Whether you’re looking for princesses, superheroes, or classic Disney characters, we’ve got you covered.

From EPCOT to Magic Kingdom, we’ll cover all the Disney parks and provide insider tips on the best times and locations to meet your favorite characters.

Magic Kingdom Characters

Magic Kingdom is a great place to meet your favorite Disney characters. There are several locations throughout the park where you can find them. Here are some of the best places to meet the characters:

Main Street USA Character Meet

As soon as you enter Magic Kingdom, you’ll find yourself on Main Street USA. This is a great place to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse, who often greet visitors near the entrance. You can also find other classic Disney characters like Donald Duck and Goofy here.

Fantasyland

Fantasyland is another great place to meet Disney characters. You can find the princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall, where you can take pictures and get autographs. You can also meet Winnie the Pooh and Tigger at the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride. The first time I visited Fantasyland found me as a 10-year-old and I was amazed at It’s a small world! I still am actually!

Frontierland

If you’re a fan of the Toy Story movies, you won’t want to miss Woody and Jessie at Frontierland.

Adventureland

Adventureland is home to some of the most popular Disney characters. You can meet Aladdin and Jasmine near the Magic Carpets of Aladdin ride, and you can also meet Moana near the Enchanted Tiki Room.

Tomorrowland

Tomorrowland is a great place to meet some of your favorite Disney characters.

You can meet Buzz Lightyear near the Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin ride, and you can also meet Stitch near the Stitch’s Great Escape attraction.

Epcot

Future World

In Future World at Epcot, you can meet some of your favorite Disney characters. Use the Disney My Experience map or Google Maps to locate the character meet and greet spots. Here are some of the characters you can meet:

  • Mickey Mouse and Friends at the Epcot Character Spot
  • Baymax from Big Hero 6 at the Hiro’s Workshop exhibit
  • Joy and Sadness from Inside Out at the Imagination! Pavilion

World Showcase

In the World Showcase section of Epcot, you can meet characters from around the world. Use the Disney My Experience map or Google Maps to locate the character meet and greet spots. Here are some of the characters you can meet:

  • Snow White in Germany
  • Aurora in France
  • Mulan in China
  • Anna and Elsa from Frozen in Norway
  • Alice in Wonderland in the United Kingdom

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a great place to meet and greet your favorite Disney characters. With a variety of themed areas, you can find characters from classic movies and TV shows, as well as newer Disney franchises.

Animation Courtyard

In the Animation Courtyard, you can meet some of your favorite Disney Junior characters, including at times Doc McStuffins and Vampirina. You can also meet Olaf from Frozen and Mike and Sulley from Monsters, Inc and more.

Be sure to check out the Disney Junior Dance Party, where you can sing and dance along with your favorite Disney Junior characters.

Sunset Boulevard

On Sunset Boulevard, you can meet some of the classic Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy. You can also meet some of the Disney villains, including Maleficent and the Evil Queen.

Don’t miss the chance to see the Beauty and the Beast live stage show, where you can see some of your favorite Disney characters from the movie.

Echo Lake

In Echo Lake, you can meet some of the Star Wars characters, including Chewbacca and BB-8. You can also meet some of the classic Disney characters, including Donald Duck and Daisy Duck.

Be sure to check out the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, where you can see some of the iconic scenes from the Indiana Jones movies.

Toy Story Land

In Toy Story Land, you can meet some of the characters from the Toy Story movies, including Woody and Buzz Lightyear. You can also meet some of the newer characters, including Bo Peep and Forky.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a great place to meet characters from your favorite Disney movies. Here are some of the best spots to find them:

Discovery Island

Discovery Island is the hub of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Here, you can find several of the characters meet-and-greet locations:

  • The Tree of Life: Located at the center of the park, the Tree of Life is home to several character meet-and-greets throughout the day. Check the My Disney Experience Map for specific times and characters.
  • Adventurers Outpost: Meet Mickey and Minnie in their safari outfits at this indoor location.

Africa

Africa in Animal Kingdom is home to several characters experiences, including:

  • Kilimanjaro Safaris: While on this safari ride, you may encounter characters like Timon and Rafiki.
  • Meet Favorite Disney Pals at Adventurers Outpost: Meet Donald Duck and Daisy Duck in their safari outfits at this indoor location.

Asia

Asia is home to a few character experiences in Animal Kingdom, including:

  • UP! A Great Bird Adventure: This show features Russell and Dug from the movie UP!

This is the most expensive character breakfast option at Walt Disney World. Characters have recently just returned to this breakfast, making an already hot reservation even more difficult to snag.

The breakfast is served family-style, and guests can enjoy pastries, fruit, and a choice of entree such as steak and eggs or quiche and feel part of the magic. Cinderella and other Disney princesses visit each table for photos and autographs.

The Be Our Guest Restaurant, located in the Magic Kingdom, offers a unique character breakfast experience with the Beast himself.
