There are many ways to get around Disney and one popular option is the Disney Skyliner. It is also possible to take this ride to Epcot, but where does the Skyliner drop you off?
The Skyliner station at Epcot is located between the UK and France pavilions at the World Showcase entrance. This entrance, which is sometimes referred to as the back entrance at Epcot is a great way to enter the world showcase, but it’s a long distance from Test Track.
Many people love taking the Disney Skyliner gondolas because it gives them an opportunity to relax before they get to the park. It does drop you right at an entrance, but the entrance is not near the front.
The main entrance brings you into the park near Spaceship Earth.

This may be confusing to many people who are not accustomed to using the printed Epcot map, which is somewhat upside down on the My Disney Experience app. On the map, the main entrance is located at the top and the back entrance is located in the lower right-hand area.
Now that you know about the back entrance to Epcot, you really need to decide whether it is the right choice for you.
This entrance is often used by people who are staying at local Disney resorts, including the Yacht and Beach Club or Disney Boardwalk Resorts. You can also access the back entrance on foot from the Swan and Dolphin hotels.
If you’re looking for a quick and easy way into Epcot, this is the entrance for you. You can skip the long lines and it puts you into the middle of the action quickly, provided you are looking for a trip around the World Showcase.
For those who are interested in getting on the Test Track early, you will probably want to use the main entrance. The back entrance, on the other hand, is often used by those who want to hop on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure as quickly as possible.
Take a look at this YouTube video that shows the Skyliner entrance to Epcot and keep an eye out for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure on the right-hand side in the new area of the France pavilion!
You can then head around the World Showcase to get to the other areas and rides.
When you are dropped off by the Disney Skyliner, you will have to go through a ticket booth, similar to what you would have to do with the front entrance.
The difference is; if you head over first thing in the morning and time it right, you can be in the park while others are still walking to the front entrance from their car.
Is The Disney Skyliner Free?
Since the Disney Skyliner is such a convenient option, many people wonder how much they’re going to pay to ride it.
There is no charge for riding the Disney Skyliner gondolas. It is free for anyone who is staying on the Disney property at one of the resorts and free for anyone who is staying elsewhere. You don’t have to show a ticket, you just walk on and start riding.
The Disney Skyliner connects two different parks, as well as a number of resorts. Each of the gondolas seats a maximum of 10 people and there are almost 300 gondolas to ride on. Of course, you only have to ride on one to experience it.
It got its start in 2019 and since then, it has become one of the more popular ways to get to the back entrance of Epcot. You can also enter the back entrance by arriving on foot or on a boat.

How long is the Skyliner ride to Epcot?
Many people who want to ride the Disney Skyliner to Epcot want to time it so that they are at the gate when it opens. After all, the early bird does get the worm. How long is the ride?
If you take the longest route on the Disney Skyliner to Epcot from Caribbean Beach, it will take you 11 minutes to get there. If you are getting on from Riviera Beach, then you will be at Epcot in about six minutes.
The Disney Skyliner is on a slightly different schedule than the parks. You can typically hop on the gondola and be well on your way to Epcot before the park ever opens. You might want to try to get there as early as possible, so you can be the first in line at the entrance.
If your goal is to be on Test Track early, you have two different options. You can either go through the hassle of entering through the main entrance, which is much closer to Test Track or you can take the back entrance and hustle your way around the World Showcase to get there quickly.
Which Country Is The Skyliner In?
One of the more common questions about Disney’s Skyliner is about the country where it drops you off in Epcot.
If you ride the Disney Skyliner to Epcot, you will be dropped off near the World Showcase entrance at the International Gateway. In other words, you are dropped off outside of the park and you do not enter any country until you enter Epcot.
Once you get through the ticket area and walk down International Gateway, you have two different choices. It is easy to start your journey, but you really need to decide which way you want to go. Here are the options:
France Pavilion – If you are interested in some French cuisine early after you arrive at Epcot or if you want to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, head to the France Pavilion immediately upon entering.
You can reach the France Pavilion by traveling down International Gateway and taking the first bridge to your right. You will pass over a small island and then cross a second bridge before you get to France.
United Kingdom Pavilion: If you are interested in heading to the UK, continue to travel along International Gateway past the first bridge and it will take you directly to the Yorkshire County Fish Shop. This is a great place to start your trip with some fish and chips and perhaps even a yard of beer.
The bottom line is, to take advantage of the Disney Skyliner whenever possible. Take it to Epcot or to Hollywood Studios. It’s a great way to see the sights and to get to your park in style.
